Future Cities Laboratory Global (FCL) will be showcased at the 2025 Time Space Existence exhibition through the work of the Dense and Green Cities module. Held at Palazzo Mora from 10 May to 23 November 2025, the exhibition will present the module’s latest research on sustainable integrated urban development, illustrating how high-density cities can integrate greenery to enhance liveability, resilience, and environmental performance.
Coinciding with the exhibition, the module will also launch Dense and Green Urban Development (Birkhäuser, 2025), a new book synthesizing its research at FCL Global. This publication explores strategies for embedding nature into urban systems, offering valuable insights for policymakers, designers, and researchers shaping the cities of tomorrow.
Organised by the European Cultural Centre in the context of the Venice Architecture Biennale, Time Space Existence is a premier platform bringing together architects, researchers, and urbanists from around the world to envision the future of the built environment.
