[ACP] Architectural Cognition in Practice - Lara | Video Series

How do people perceive the built environment? And can we use this knowledge to design better places for people?

[ACP] Architectural Cognition in Practice - Lara | Video Series

In the third entry of the Video Series, we return to Singapore to meet Lara Gregorians, postdoctoral researcher and Module Coordinator of the [ACP] Architectural Cognition in Practice module at Future Cities Laboratory Global. We explore the work of the [ACP] group in Singapore and Zürich to study architectural cognition – in other words scientific knowledge about users-needs, cognition, behaviour and experience – and how it can be applied to the architecture and urban design process. Learn about how [ACP] researchers investigate this relationship through sensors, VR headsets, experiments – and treadmills!

More stories from our researchers coming soon. Stay tuned!
