A conference report has been published in the International Journal of Life Cycle Assessment to document the learnings from the LCA Discussion Forum organized by CFC in May 2025. Main takeaways: LCA community can play a pivotal role in advancing circular construction by 1) pushing for LCA standards involving circularity, 2) harmonizing LCA databases, 3) leveraging digital tools, 4) integrating LCA with other methods such as material stock modeling. Attend the presentation by visiting PhD student Jussi Torkko from the University of Helsinki, Finland, as he thoroughly investigates the different computational tools we use to measure greenery and how they differ from people’s perception, as well as the use and benefit of using LLMs for urban planning tasks.
