Dear FCL Global Community,
Even – and especially – amid this period of transition, our community stays strongly connected, with the FCL network spanning institutions, disciplines, and continents. The Engagement Platform (EP) is a key component of the digital fabric bringing FCL researchers and alumni together.
The Engagement Platform continues to evolve with new functions:
- FCL Global Video Series: The Video Series has continued since last December, featuring even more stories and insights from FCL researchers in Singapore and Zurich. The Video Series now has a dedicated portal on the Engagement Platform. Explore the portal here.
- Comments: It is now possible to leave comments on pages in the Engagement Platform. Public comments are moderated by the Engagement Platform team and create an opportunity for people to leave their thoughts on FCL Global content. Additionally, internal comments allow for communication between FCL Global members, such as annotations, suggested revisions, or collaboration potentials.

As we wrap up the FCL Programme, the Engagement Platform team needs your help to assess and enhance the usability of the EP.
We are conducting a user research exercise to understand how users interact with the current state of the EP, and how a collaborative platform can be improved or redesigned to better facilitate research between individuals, modules, and research sites. We are recruiting users within FCL as well as external stakeholders who can assess the public-facing experience.
In the coming weeks we will also reach out to modules to conduct a data archival exercise to make sure we have records of all of the datasets produced by FCL research which can be reused in future research studies.
Please reach out to the Engagement Platform team (Sean Eu, Yacine Mekesser, Preya Devi) to participate and to share your candid thoughts.
Warmest regards,
The Engagement Platform Team
