Dear FCL Global Community,
The development of the Future Cities Laboratory IV programme moves ahead. Following the successful Singapore Agency Workshop, we noted a strong interest from the agencies to learn more about the proposed modules and to engage in more focused and detailed discussions on topics directly relevant to their respective domains.
In response, we are organising Deep Dive sessions, with focused dialogues between different agencies and proposed projects, to continue these conversations based on agency interest. We had our first few sessions with the Urban Redevelopment Authority, where they were specifically interested in the research directly focusing on density, health, ageing and human behaviours.
We are in the process of organising further rounds of Deep Dives in Singapore while also preparing engagement opportunities with stakeholders in Switzerland. These focused dialogues with stakeholders help strengthen the proposal's science-policy interface, and we look forward to more such engagements in the weeks to come.
