Cycles and Districts

Explore how sustainable construction, design, energy generation, and reuse can enable liveable and resilient futures with the [CFC], [DEN], [POW], and [BIO] modules.

Cycles and Districts | Future Cities Symposium & Exhibition 2025

The Cycles and Districts cluster focuses on the improvement of material processes (digital fabrication, energy generation, building material reuse) involved in sustainable construction and habitation of high-density settlements at building and city-district scales. In this session, representatives of each of the cluster modules – [CFC] Circular Future Cities, [POW] Powering the City, [DEN] Dense and Green Cities, and [BIO] Urban BioCycles: Mycelium Digitalisation – share their research findings, innovative solutions, and outlook for the future of their fields.

Learn more about the Cycles and Districts cluster on its Engagement Platform cluster page.
