[SUE] Semantic Urban Elements - Matias | Video Series

What is it like to be part of one of the world's largest interdisciplinary research programmes tackling the complex challenges of urbanisation? The Future Cities Laboratory Global has over 150 researchers from diverse disciplinary backgrounds across our hubs of Singapore and Zürich. We are excited to launch a new series of videos featuring the researchers behind FCL Global's work. Learn about their backgrounds, what their exciting research is about, and how their work will impact the future of urbanisation! In our first episode from Singapore hub, Matias Quintana—Module Coordinator of [SUE] Semantic Urban Elements—explores how open data can help us better understand urban environments. He is one of the researchers behind Global Streetscapes, a National University of Singapore-led project providing a comprehensive dataset of 10 million street-level images across 688 cities worldwide.

More stories from our researchers coming soon. Stay tuned!
