FCL Global Pillars

Future Cities Laboratory Global’s ultimate goal is to promote more equitable and liveable urban futures, by bringing together: Science, Design, Engineering and Governance. These four pillars represent a new research method for addressing urban challenges and rapid global urbanisation. This unique approach transcends disciplinary boundaries to create an interdisciplinary program tackling challenges brought on by a world where two-thirds of the population will reside in over half a million cities within the next decade.
